Think Big Career Accelerator

Think Big Career Accelerator is a new, bespoke employability scholarship programme for master's students, designed to boost your confidence in finding employment or advancing your career after graduation.

Successful applicants will have the chance to attend a programme of exclusive career events, workshops and networking opportunities, and receive a £3,000 scholarship.

Applications for the Think Big Career Accelerator open on 25 November.

Eligibility

The Think Big Career Accelerator is for applicants with overseas fee status who have applied for an eligible master's programme. The criteria is the same as what is listed on the Think Big postgraduate award webpage.

There are up to 350 Career Accelerator awards available:

  • Up to 200 awards for eligible master's programmes in the Business School;
  • Up to 100 awards for eligible master's programmes in Engineering schools;
  • And up to 50 awards for all other eligible master's programmes.

What's included

The Think Big Career Accelerator will include:

  • An exclusive welcome reception with fellow scholars and esteemed academics
  • A series of lectures led by distinguished University of Bristol professors and the chance to attend prestigious guest speaker events.
  • Think Big Career Accelerator workshops, providing insights on how to find your ideal role, prepare for job applications, enhance your CV and improve interview skills

The Career Accelerator also includes a £3,000 scholarship towards your tuition fees.

How to apply

Our simple online form makes it easy to apply for the Career Accelerator, as well as our Think Big postgraduate scholarship and all other University of Bristol international scholarships. You will only need to complete one form to be considered for all relevant scholarships. 

You must submit an application to study at the University of Bristol before applying for these scholarships.

The Think Big Career Accelerator award cannot be used together with a Think Big postgraduate scholarship.

July 2025 Scholarship award letters are sent to successful applicants

Candidates who are awarded a Think Big Career Accelerator in Rounds 1 or 2 will still be considered for a Think Big postgraduate scholarship in Round 3. If successful, the Think Big Career Accelerator award will be updated to a Think Big postgraduate scholarship.
