Partnering with our Centre

Is it possible to provide a world class innovation and entrepreneurship education without engaging with real-world organisations? We certainly don't think so, which is why our partnerships are so important to us and our students.

Why partner with us?

Our partners are private businesses, public offices and third-sector organisations, and we often hear the same three stories from them about why partnering makes sense. Some are looking to recruit in the future and see how aligning with an innovative education provider is a solid strategy. Others have problems and challenges that they may not have the capacity to tackle themselves, or where they are looking for outside viewpoints, and see how that can be a win-win situation with our students. And many cite the importance of fostering innovative environments as part of doing what is right.

We have formed many valuable partnerships over the years; get in touch and we can explore how a mutually beneficial partnership might take shape for you and your organisation.

What does partnership looks like in practice?

There are many ways to engage, including but not limited to:

  • Setting real-life challenges for 3-month student projects
  • Delivering one-off talks to our students
  • Participating in discussions with staff and students on emerging practices and trends
  • Providing feedback on student pitches and projects (part of our engaging assessment approach)
  • Field trips for our students to see for themselves where and how you work
  • SME Internship programmes part-funded by the university
  • Joining a panel debate at one of our showcases/conferences
