Heart Fest for Schools
Hands-on activities to learn about the cardiovascular system, how we can keep it healthy, and how scientists and clinicians help us do that. Activities to include: Understanding Diet and Heart Health, CPR Training, ECGs, the Human Simulator, Blood Clotting, the Cardiovascular System in Dogs, How to Be a Heart Surgeon, Heart Dissections, the Stent Simulator, How Zebrafish are Used to Study Hearts, Children of the 90s, Exercise and Heart Health and many many more…. Be sure to see the Heart Explorer Dome an Immersive, interactive science show. Yoga and Tai Chi taster sessions for improving heart health.
