Supporting your research

Our Research Engineering team can support your research in several ways, from free ad hoc data science support to longer-term collaborations. We can also help with grant development and promoting events that have a data-intensive research focus within the University and can connect you with the right networks to ensure your event reaches the most relevant audiences.

How we can help

Every project is different, so please reach out to ask-jgi@bristol.ac.uk so that we can find the best way to support your research.

Here are examples of what we can offer:

  • Data science, AI and software engineering support
From free support from our Ask-JGI helpdesk, to in-depth costed support from our pool of Data Scientists, AI Engineers and Research Software Engineers (RSEs).
  • Grant development
We can offer advice and support during grant development and can offer costed data science, AI and research software engineering (RSE) expertise onto your grant.
  • Networking & events
We can help with publicising your event to reach the most relevant audiences, and can help with seeking expertise on specific data science and AI topics.
  • Seed corn funding opportunities
We offer seed corn funding to support and promote activities that will foster interdisciplinary research in the areas of data and AI.
