Congratulations on receiving your offer to study at Bristol!
What to expect when you visit the School of Experimental Psychology
We hope your visit to us will confirm that Bristol is the right university for you.
You might have been to one of our Open Days where you explored the University precinct and saw some subject talks and displays which helped you decide which course to apply for at Bristol.
Now that you have an offer from us, your visit day is designed to give you more time to ask any questions you may have about your course or life at Bristol, look around the facilities and find out more about what it is like to study here.
The day should give you a really strong sense of what it will be like to be part of our science community at the University of Bristol. On the day you will:
- find out more about your course
- take a tour of the buildings and facilities where you will study
- meet staff and students and have plenty of opportunities to ask lots of questions
- visit our research labs
- get a taste for the way we teach and learn through a mini lecture.
All Visit Days for 2018 have now taken place.
Further details including booking and central programmes can be found on the central admissions website.
Visit days are an all day event and we do recommend that students attend the entire day in order to get the most out of it.
Please note that although the structure of each day will be the same, locations do vary on each date.
The School of Experimental Psychology will usually run interviews for mature applicants only.
Your interview will be held at the School of Experimental Psychology (12a Priory Road, Bristol, BS8 1TU). The interview will last 30 minutes and will be conducted by two members of our academic staff.
The University Travel Bursary fund can cover the travel costs of students wishing to attend an undergraduate interview, departmental open day or a post-offer visit day.
