Pudding Pie Lane Masterplan

Background and Project outline

Proposals are being brought forward by the University of Bristol for a residential development on the University's land at Pudding Pie Lane, Langford.

The site, of just over 12 acres, is close to the University Veterinary School and bounded by Jubilee Lane to the north, Stock Lane to the east and Pudding Pie Lane to the south.

The initial proposals show a scheme of around 150 new homes, consisting of a mix of housing types and sizes along with a proportion of affordable housing for local people. In addition the proposals include public open space, a children's play area, landscaping and also a community building.

Planning and timeline

As part of the design and planning process we would welcome input from stakeholders and the local community.  A public exhibition has been arranged so that anyone interested can come along to see what is being proposed, talk to the University project team and give their feedback before an outline planning application is submitted to North Somerset Council.

As these plans progress the University and its project team would like to hear the views of those living and working in the area and also feedback from University staff and students.
