Statutory Compliance Testing

The Compliance Team within Facilities Management Hard Services are responsible for ensuring compliance with all of the statutory testing requirements laid out in UK health and Safety legislation.  Testing is either carried out by internal qualified staff or by specialist contractors managed by the Compliance Team.  

If statutory testing is required in occupied University buildings, then the Compliance Team will be in contact with the appropriate Facilities Manager, Residential Facilities Coordinators or Technical Manager as appropriate to arrange facilitated access.  We will aim to be as flexible as possible with access requests however please be aware that as statutory testing is mandatory within specified timeframes, we need to adhere to agreed access schedules as re-arranging these may not be possible to ensure compliance.
