A Look at Literature

We run three 8-week taster courses a year for adults who would like to try University-level study in an open and supportive environment. These are free to join, with no prior qualifications required.

Autumn 2024
A Look at Literature: An Introduction to Studying English Literature (fully booked)

Mondays, 6 pm to 8 pm  
30 September to 25 November (Half-term break 28 October)
Course tutor: Sophia Ioannides

This free 8-week taster course for adults will introduce you to the subject of English Literature. You will read and discuss a range of texts, including short  stories and poetry, guided by a university tutor.

These tasters are held at community organisations, across the city of Bristol, and priority is given to residents of the local area.
