Digimakers is a series of free, hands-on workshops for children aged seven to 18, parents and educators interested in being creative with electronics and computing.
We are inspiring the next generation of technical innovators, creatives and engineers by providing an introduction to 'making' in the digital world.
From hacking hardware to programming software, we can show you more ways to have fun with technology. We use a range accessible, affordable, open source tools and technologies, like Raspberry Pi, Arduino, Scratch, Python, Processing, Unity 3D.
If you would like to attend one of our weekend events at We The Curious or you would like us to visit your school, visit the Digimakers website:
We’re going on the road! Due to the popularity of our main events, we’re looking to take Digimakers out to schools. If you’re interested in hosting a Digimakers event, please contact us.
These events are an ongoing collaboration between the University of Bristol and We The Curious Science Centre.
