EEMG Researchers win 1st prize for their poster at the CPE Annual Conference

The Pulse Quietening team within the Electrical Energy Management (EEM) research group won 1st prize for their poster entitled "Oscillation elimination in a 650V GaN FET bridge-leg converter using 6.7 GHz active gate driver" at the Centre for Power Electronics (CPE) Annual Conference which took place at the beginning of July.

The poster session is one of the highlights of the annual conference showcasing the latest research in Power Electronics carried out by the Centre and other projects.  It illuminates the many facets of innovations and progress in Power electronics research.  More than 30 poster hosts from 13 Universities across UK presented and talked about their topics on display with delegates. 

Joyce Wang part of the PQ team says of winning the prize “I am deeply honoured for the recognition of our work through this prize, it is a collective effort with everyone from our PQ group, it would not have been possible without their bold innovation in the first place.”
