School of Education student wins Dean's prize for outstanding performance

Congratulations are in order for School of Education student, Mishka Jessop, who has recently been awarded a Faculty award; the Dean's prize for outstanding performance in her first year.

Student Mishka Jessop, who is currently studying at the University of Bristol for a BSc Psychology of Education (Study Abroad), said on receiving the award;

"I’m very proud to have received this amazing award as a testament to the hard work I put in and all that I’ve learnt over my first year. I cannot thank all my teachers and classmates enough for helping me reach this point and I hope the university will continue to support me in exceeding my own expectations!".

Mishka's achievement was celebrated too by her lecturer and personal tutor, Dr Ioanna Palaiologou;

"Mishka is a hard working, very well organised and disciplined student. Overall her academic performance is outstanding, and she is well respected by her classmates and the academics that teach her. She has a warm personality and she cares for the others. I am delighted she has received this award!"

The Dean's award is a faculty prize, awarded to one student in each school of the Faculty of Arts, Social Sciences and Law.
