Core Content Framework and EPRS toolkits
The Education Policy and Research Service (EPRS) contained two toolkits: the Core Content Framework (CCF) Toolkit and the EPRS Toolkit: Educator Research Resource. They are now available to buy separately.
Core Content Framework (CCF) Toolkit
The CCF Toolkit is must-have resource containing an overview of the 139 research articles of the CCF with quality ratings. Each Teachers’ Standard includes:
- 2 research summaries
- 2 discussion/question sheets
Students or staff can read a summary, prepare questions, and engage in group discussions, keeping training CCF-aligned.
The toolkit is available for purchase with activities, without activities, or by teaching standard.

The Educator Research Resource is a must-have for educators to use the EPRS database as a teaching tool. This resource bank offers practical ideas, discussion sheets, and key report summaries covering subject-specific and broader curriculum topics. Updated annually, it includes an indexed list of key reports by subject.
The full toolkit features 50 activities and lesson plans, categorized by subject or theme, plus a curated list of curriculum-focused EPRS reports. Available for purchase as a complete set or in subject/theme-based packs.
