Constructing your Argument workshop

A two-day workshop open to all PGR students. The fund paid for an acknowledged expert, Rowena Murray, to deliver writing tips for PGRs at any stage of the research degree journey.

Zine-making workshop

A half-day workshop open to all PGR students. Attendees were given a relaxed and friendly space to come together and produce a creative output from their research.

Neurodivergent PGR panel

A discussion and Q&A event led by the Neurodivergent PGR Network. Four PGR panellists nearing the end of their research degrees shared their experiences of the unique struggles that neurodivergent PGRs often face and the strategies they used to work through common pitfalls.

Sketchnoting for PGRs

half-day Sketchnoting workshop open to all PGRs. Sketchnoting is a notetaking technique that combines verbal elements with illustration, drawing etc. The workshop was organised with the aim to provide PGRs with an innovative tool that has the potential to add creativity and flair to research.
