Karen Ho

Karen Ho is a Technical Specialist in the Bristol Bioresource Laboratories (BBL), based at the University of Bristol, where the Cleft Collective study samples are held.

She oversees the processing and safe storage of all biological samples provided by participants of the study.

Karen has a BSc Hons in Biochemistry & Physiology from the University of Reading and MSc in Stem Cell research from the University of Bristol.

Karen works on multiple cohort studies and is responsible for DNA extraction from samples and generating data on gene sequence and DNA methylation.

Previous roles have involved working on a variety of research projects in labs at the University of Reading, Southampton General Hospital & Queen Mary & Westfield College.
