Go south of the river Avon and discover the charming neighbourhoods of Bedminster and Southville.

This is an area defined by creativity. Upfest, Europe's largest street art and graffiti festival, takes place here annually. 

Make sure to stop by the Tobacco Factory. This independent theatre venue in a beautiful redbrick building is also one of Bristol's most famous street art walls - with a new mural painted during Upfest each year.

North Street, brimming with character and independent shops, is also a must-visit.

If you’re looking for the unusual, take a trip to meet the animals at the farm or take part in one of the workshops. 

Ashton Gate

Visit Ashton Gate Stadium, home of Bristol Bears Rugby and Bristol City Football Club.

This large venue has also played host to some big names like the Arctic Monkeys and the Killers.
