Ramiz Zulkharnay awarded two competitive research grants

Dr Ramiz Zulkharnay, Senior Research Associate in the School of Chemistry's Diamond Research Group, has recently been awarded two competitive research grants.

The first is a Japan Society for the Promotion of Science (JSPS) Postdoctoral Fellowship, and the second is a Royal Society of Chemistry (RSC) Researcher Collaborations Grant.

Both awards support multiple research visits to the National Institute for Materials Science (NIMS) within a one-year period, during which Dr Zulkharnay will undertake research on boron-doped diamond microelectromechanical systems (MEMS) devices for gas pressure sensing.
