Dr Khan attended the Research World International Conference in Osaka on 27 and 28 July. At this event, he received the Research World Excellent Paper Award for the paper entitled 'Identification of indoor air pollution sources by tracer experiments', under the Best Presentation category.
A week later Dr Khan was also awarded with the Best Presentation Award for the presentation entitled 'The impact of outdoor emissions, glazing, lighting, room height and ventilation on pollutant dynamics' at the 11th International Conference on Sustainable Environment and Agriculture held in Tokyo between 1 and 3 August.
