Our prestigious Annual Lecture will be on the theme of Planetary Health. 

How can we safeguard the health of people and natural systems during times of unprecedented change? How can we achieve a healthy future which considers the wellbeing and equity of all life on earth?  

The event will start with an introductory keynote talk from Sir Professor Andy Haines, followed by a panel discussion and Q&A. 

The panellists will be: 

  • Keynote: Professor Sir Andy Haines, London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine
  • Chantelle Lindsay, London Wildlife Trust and BBC presenter;
  • Professor Federico Costa, Yale School of Public Health
  • Dr Modi Mwatsama, Head of Capacity & Field Development, Climate & Health at Wellcome Trust 
  • Dr Gail Marzetti, SRE Director, Department of Health & Social Care

Cabot Institute Research Showcase

The Research Showcase is open between 3:30 pm and 5:45 pm in the Reception Room. Please note last entry is 5:30 pm. No need to book, just drop in.

Join us for our second environmental research showcase event to learn more about the Cabot Institute for the Environment and how our research is contributing to identifying better ways to live within our changing planet.   

Expect Planetary Health research highlights from academics from across our faculties and disciplines, who are striving for a healthy future for us and all life on earth. There will also be an opportunity to learn more about the research from our brilliant Master’s by Research in Global Environmental Challenges students.
