Brigstow Institute toolkits

Brigstow Institute has developed a series of toolkits to help support you to navigate your co-produced or interdisciplinary research journey. These toolkits are playful ways to facilitate serious discussions, and create opportunities for your research team to develop your partnerships and research ideas.

  • Research lexicon
This toolkit explores different definitions and etymologies of words that you might each bring to the project as well as assumptions about their meanings across disciplines.
  • Exploring interests, developing questions
This toolkit facilitates an iterative process of finding share interests, developing research questions and designing a project.
  • Engaged beings
This toolkit helps team members to communicate and understand each others individual motivations, practical needs and ways of working.
  • Working together dodecahedron
This toolkit facilitates a group to explore team motivations and expectations of a project as well as how to work together and carry out the research.
  • Cube of context
This toolkit is an aid for you to introduce your collaborators to your professional context and to be curious about each others.

Have you used one of our toolkits?
