Writing Circle

If you're applying for Brigstow's Connections Funding and need time and space to write the application, come along to the Writing Circle.

We recognise funding applications throw up lots of questions about your project, or the funding process. Likewise, it’s difficult to carve out the time to focus and get it written. To support this, we wanted to provide a space before the Connections Funding deadline for people to be able to develop their applications collectively and with us on hand to answer any questions.

This Writing Circle is an opportunity for the Brigstow Team to:

1. Provide a space for teams to meet and co-develop their application.

2. Be on hand should you have any questions relating to the application process, or the suitability of your idea/application.

3. Provide a distinct time before the deadline that people who are time stretched can block out in their calendars and focus.

4. Give groups an opportunity to see what other people are thinking and working on.

This is a drop-in event, and you can stay for as long or as short as you’d like: Whether it’s to join us in writing, or just to pop in and ask questions.

Please note this Writing Circle relates to applications for Brigstow Institute Connections Funding for the theme of "Postcolonial Natural History Collections and Museum and Archive Practices" only.

There will be tea and coffee available.

Date: Tuesday 17 June 2025, 9am - 5pm
