Submissions
Undergraduate and postgraduate taught students on any programme at the University of Bristol are invited to submit their research, provided it fulfils all criteria below. In addition to originial academic research in all subject areas, we are also able to publish book reviews of scholary work.
While we are very happy to publish papers produced by students as part of their programme of study, application to the Journal should be taken as an opportunity to revise and develop this work. Perhaps there is a topic that particularly took your interest in first year, and you could return to earlier paper and research. Or, maybe a piece of work didn’t quite get the mark that you wanted, and this could be an opportunity to implement the feedback given to submit for publication! Remember also that the readership of the journal will not have the same intensive subject-knowledge as your tutors, and that it may be necessary to include explanation and background information.
