Editor’s Foreword
I’m pleased to present the offering from Politics and International Relations this year. These six papers cover a diverse range of topics and some of the most pressing issues of our age. The desire to understand and work towards a better, fairer and more equal world is a common theme running throughout, demonstrating the positive spirit and aims of our subject.
It’s been an honour to lead this year’s editorial team and to be part of an initiative that celebrates the best of student research. I hope this journal will go from strength to strength as the years progress because it provides a unique opportunity for student collaboration across year groups and showcases the high calibre and hard work of students at the University of Bristol.
My thanks go to the Politics and International Relations editorial team, and the deputy editors in particular who were instrumental in shaping our subject’s selections this year.
