One award per faculty will be made to an individual (academic) who inspires students through their teaching and who meet some (or ideally all) of the following criteria. 

• inspires curiosity, creativity and a love of learning through teaching 
• are innovative and dynamic in their teaching, for example: by introducing different types of assessment that empowers students to produce their best work
• creates an active and inclusive learning environment 
• connects learning and assessment to real world problems and society

Postgraduate students who teach are eligible for nomination under this award category.
