The Medieval Gateway to Europe
The Centre for Medieval Studies was formed in 1994 and is a well-established presence within the Faculty of Arts. We create an exciting and supportive forum for staff and postgraduate researchers alike.
An emphasis is placed upon interdisciplinary exchange, and we regularly hold seminars and conferences (including an annual postgraduate conference), to which specialists in a wide range of disciplines are invited to contribute.
We play an active role in various Worldwide Universities Network programmes, and regularly run sessions at the international medieval conferences at Leeds and Kalamazoo.
