Bristol Common Press launch
Centre for Material Texts
Arts Complex, G. H01
Earlier in the year the Centre for Material Texts purchased three historic printing presses and set up a working print shop for printing texts and images by hand. The print shop has been christened Bristol Common Press to celebrate the wooden common press which lies at the heart of our collections, and to reflect our core aim to make this a collaborative space which is open to all.
We invite you to join us to hear the story of Bristol Common Press so far and learn more about its potential for research, teaching and creative practice.
Refreshments will be available from 5pm in the HUMS breakout space (ground floor of the new HUMS building).
Please book via Eventbrite for catering purposes: Bristol Common Press Launch Tickets, Bristol | Eventbrite
