Our courses offer a wide variety of transferable skills for the workplace. From group work, IT and numeracy, to fieldwork and data interpretation, our degrees offer a wide variety of knowledge and opportunity for our students to gain. 

During your studies, you will develop practical skills, such as eye for analysis, written and verbal communications, interpretation and numeracy, ensuring that you can hit the ground running on your first day at work after University. 

Our courses can prepare you for a diverse array of careers such as:

• National heritage organisations, such as English Heritage, the National Trust and CADW

Careers Service 

At Bristol, we have a wonderful Careers Service who are available to discuss your next steps. They are available to meet and discuss your plans for the future, help with CVs, or discuss part-time work opportunities during your study. 

They also run the Bristol PLUS Awards which is designed to help you make the most out of your time at Bristol. This scheme rewards you for extra development alongside your studies and helps you to think about the value of the skills you already have.
