Anatomy of the Male Pelvis
Led by our expert faculty of anatomists, this half-day review of the Anatomy of the Male Pelvis is aimed at professionals with a scope of practice relevant to the region, such as practitioners addressing issues related to urogenital dysfunction, prostate cancer survivorship and MSK conditions affecting the lumbar spine and pelvis, and anterior abdominal wall and groin.
The course will be taught by our expert faculty of Anatomists in purpose designed facilities using an extensive catalogue of pre-dissected human donor material.
Using expertly dissected human donor material, participants will be guided to:
- Identify structures of the pelvis & perineum, including ligaments, myofasciae, organs & neurovasculature
- Appreciate anatomical relationships & continuities in 3D
- Relate your learning experience to individual scope of practice
Please note that this course is aimed at medical professionals, allied health practitioners & researchers with a related scope of practice, e.g. urogenital health, who are keen to refresh & extend their anatomical knowledge via guided examination of authentic human tissue.
Details from a professional body are required as a part of the registration process (e.g. GMC, NMC, HCPC). Please get in touch with us at Vesalius-courses@bristol.ac.uk if you would like more information or if your professional body is not listed.
