Dr. Hannah Dunne MB BCh BAO MRCPI LFFLM

Hannah is a human anatomist at the University of Bristol and teaches across undergraduate anatomy and medicine programmes. She began her medical training in Ireland, specialising in Obstetrics and Gynaecology. Alongside her teaching, she now practices as a Specialty Doctor in Forensics and Sexual Offences at The Bridge SARC. Hannah provides a clinical insight into pelvic anatomy and integrates understanding of common procedures and assessments into her teaching to aid in the application of learning.

Dr Suzanne Scott

Suzanne is an anatomist, sports physiologist and movement coach. In her role at the University of Bristol she has developed original, dynamic anatomy courses, at both undergraduate and postgraduate/professional level, which aim to contextualise anatomy in the actions and movements of everyday living and sports performance. Suzanne has a parallel career working within performance medicine teams and has coached movement and supported rehabilitation from an anatomy-informed perspective for over two decades, and brings her knowledge and experience to her anatomy teaching delivery.  

Russell Peters

Russell Peters is a Senior Lecturer in Human Anatomy at the University of Bristol, specialising in the structural and functional basis of musculoskeletal performance and injury. His background is in Sport and Exercise Biomechanics, with expertise in 3D motion capture, electromyography, and movement-based assessment.

Russell began his academic career at the University of Chichester, later leading the discipline of Sport & Exercise Biomechanics at both Kingston University and Birmingham Newman University. He has designed and directed multiple degree programmes and has extensive experience teaching anatomy and biomechanics at undergraduate, postgraduate and MRes level.

His research and consultancy portfolio spans professional and elite sport, working with athletes such as Cristiano Ronaldo, Olympic squads, and alongside companies including Hi-Tec, Adidas and the UK Ministry of Defence. Russell’s work focuses on translating biomechanical insights into practical MSK applications, from understanding mechanism of injury, to the development of field-based assessment tools and performance-related strategies.
