Together with a team of CACH researchers (Amberly Brigden, Jenny Ingram and Anna Davies), Emma Anderson gained an EBI rapid covid-19 response call grant to run the Pregnant in a Pandemic (PiP) Study, a qualitative study exploring pregnant women's understanding of social distancing regulations, their ability to adhere to guidelines and the implications for them. Emma did an interview with Sandra Green from Ujima Radio (broadcast Saturday 2 May) when recruting was still taking place, to publicise the research, aiming to boost the ethnic diversity of our sample (Ujima is a local radio with a Black/Caribbean audience). More recently Emma was approached by Research Professional News for an interview about gaining a rapid grant, which can be seen here: https://www.researchprofessionalnews.com/rr-funding-insight-2020-5-my-winning-proposal-internal-covid-19-funding/
