Aveline, Joe Archive of the stage production manager, writer and theatre historian Joe Aveline, composed largely of material from a variety of British and European theatrical management projects. Of particular interest is a collection of historical material (c.1900 - 1960s) retrieved from the Playhouse Theatre, London during a period when it lay empty in the 1980s.
Ayrton, Norman Records relating to the career of Norman Ayrton (1924 - 2017); actor, theatre and opera director, drama teacher and principal of the London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art (LAMDA) from 1966 to 1972.
Burton, Percy Percy Burton (theatrical press agent) scrapbook of press cuttings covering Burton's promotion of Lowell Thomas' Travelogues 'With Allenby in Palestine and Lawrence in Arabia', 1919 - 1920.
Davis, Joe The archive of lighting designer Joe Davis (1912 - 1984). Contains: photographs, diaries, passport, lighting plots, news cuttings, account books, programmes, typed autobiographical recollections, medals and army papers.
Farjeon, Herbert Herbert Farjeon (1887 - 1945) was a dramatic critic, lyricist, librettist, presenter of revues, playwright, theatre manager, and theatre researcher. His archive reflects the diverse roles that he had within the theatre industry, with particular emphasis on his interest in theatre history.
Lamus, Linda Linda Lamus was press officer for the Bristol Hippodrome in the 1980s. This collection reflects her work there and includes marketing material for productions during this period.
Mackintosh, Iain  Material collected by the British theatre producer, designer and historian Iain Mackintosh (b. 1937). Much of this collection is related to the Prospect Theatre Company and its tenure at the London Old Vic 1977 - 1982.
Macready / McFadyean Collection of correspondence from and / or related to the Macready-Chute family who were major owner-managers of Bristol Theatre in the 19th Century.
Northen, Michael Collection related to Michael Northen MBE (1921 - 2001), the first credited Lighting Designer in the UK and former chairman and president of the Association of Lighting Designers and the Society of British Theatre Designers.
Roe, Frances The archive of Frances Roe, costume (wardrobe) supervisor at the Royal Shakespeare Company (RSC) in Stratford for 26 years. Included is material she collected during her work there and at other venues such as the London Old Vic / Coventry Theatre / Marighy Theatre, Paris.
Santos, Manolo Archive of Manolo Santos, stage manager with the Bristol Old Vic Theatre Company from the mid-1960s into the 1970s.
Taylor, Ross Archive of British Theatre Producer, director, dancer and choreographer Ross Taylor (1929 - 2017) who described himself as "the first working class impresario". Including records of his prolific career in variety from the 1950s - 1970s, this collection also reflects Ross's work on musicals such as Charlie Girl (1964), and the London revivals of The King and I (1979) and The Sound of Music (1981).
Vaughan, Tom Archive of producer and actor Tom Vaughan (1911 - 1994), who also served as Governor of The London Old Vic, Chair of the Royal Victoria Hall Foundation and Drama Critic for The Morning Star.
West, Rodney The Rodney West collection comprises administration records relating to his time as General Manager of the Bristol Old Vic, 1984 - 1989.
Woddis, Carole Archive of theatre critic Carole Woddis, professionally active from the early 1980s. Includes: reviews, features, scripts, books, programmes and Audio-Visual material.
