Shops and facilities
There is a branch of Sainsburys supermarket nearby on the Triangle (about 5 mins walk). Also close by is a Somerfield supermarket on St. Michaels Hill. There are many shops on Queens Road, and Park Street covering almost all needs. There is a smaller local shopping area on St Michaels Hill. A slightly further walk up Whiteladies Road will bring you to Clifton Down Shopping Centre.
Places to eat
There are a large number of places to eat all within easy walking distance. The closest ones are on Queens Road and Park Street where you will find a large selection of bars, restaurants and sandwich shops. There are also several eateries on St. Michaels Hill. A large proportion of Whiteladies Road is given over to the pursuits of eating and drinking. If you don't fancy leaving the building there is also the University refectory!
