What will I pay?

Financing your studies may seem complicated at first. Here at the University of Bristol we’ve put together information to help you understand the financial side of going to university.

In general terms, the costs you are likely to incur at university can be grouped into three categories: accommodation costs, general living costs and tuition fees.

Accommodation and general living costs

These will vary according to your lifestyle and the kind of accommodation you are allocated. Please visit the Accommodation Office web site for more information.

Tuition fees

2013/14 Tuition fee rates

Tuition fees for students who are ordinarily resident in the Channel Islands or the Isle of Man have not yet been set for 2013, however for 2012 they were set at £9,000 per annum for all programmes. For some courses there may be an additional fee, which we believe will be met by your Island Authority.

Different degree programmes attract different rates of tuition fee, and you will be informed of the fee to be paid prior to registration.
