Knowlson Awards

The Knowlson Trust Travel Awards are available for travel which is not part of the applicant's academic studies. Successful applicants are likely to be those who are making a wider contribution to society (eg voluntary work overseas) or who are undertaking individual physical challenges, and who have a purpose rather than simply planning an adventurous holiday. Applications for travel must be submitted to the Student Funding Office by 23 March 2012. Awards for travel in the Christmas and Easter vacations will be considered retrospectively.

Application forms can be obtained from the Student Funding Office, Ground Floor, Senate House, or by e-mailing June.Kynaston@bris.ac.uk. You can also download the application form from this website. Successful applicants are required to submit reports within a month of their return. Best reports will receive prizes of £100 and runners-up £50.
