MSc Nutrition, Physical Activity and Public Health

Welcome to the MSc in Nutrition, Physical Activity and Public Health (MSc NPAPH), a unique, academically rigorous, multi-disciplinary programme with a vibrant UK, EU and international student community.

This masters programme is located within the Centre for Exercise, Nutrition and Health Sciences, a research-intensive centre within the School for Policy Studies, with an outstanding international reputation.

The programme is taught by a team of internationally recognised experts in the biomedical, epidemiological, psychosocial and socio-environmental aspects of physical activity and nutrition, as well as in the development and implementation of strategies for disease prevention and health promotion. 

The programme welcomes applications from qualified dieticians, physical activity and fitness specialists and other health professionals (such as nurses, physiotherapists, kinesiologists, physical trainers and occupational therapists) who are looking to develop in the important area of nutrition- and physical activity-related public health. It is also suitable for newly-qualified graduates from a wide range of disciplines planning to gain a specialisation in these three disciplines and a career in this area.
