The Principal Investigator of the Phases 1 and 2 was Dr Simon Sebire. Dr is Senior Lecturer in Physical Activity and Public Health at the University of Bristol and Interim Chief Executive of The Health Improvement Commission for Guernsey and Alderney. Dr Sebire’s specialist area of research is the psychology of human motivation, specifically the “what” and “why” of physical activity and sedentary behaviour among children, adolescents and adults. Dr Sebire is Co-PI of Phase 3 of the project.
The Principal Investigator of Phase 3 is Prof Russ Jago. Prof Jago’s expertise is in designing and evaluating physical activity interventions for children and young people.
Integral to the project is the Trial Management Group. Membership includes co-applicants Professor Rona Campbell, Dr Ruth Kipping, Professor William Hollingworth, Dr Athene Lane and Dr Stephanie MacNeill.
