Injury Support Group

The Injury Support Group (ISG) is a community that offers health and wellbeing support for students who are experiencing an injury or engaging in rehabilitation for an injury.

The Injury Support Group aims to help improve physical and mental health for all University of Bristol students affected by an injury - through group support sessions led by your Bristol SU Officer for Sport and Student Development, Ella Lovibond, and expert input from our Mental Fitness and Wellbeing Consultant.

What's on?

For all students affected by an injury:

Every Friday, 11 am - 12 pm (from 3 October 2025), Studio 3 at Indoor Sports Centre:

  • Workshops with Connor, on:
    • The psychology of injury and recovery
    • Mental fitness tools and strategies
    • The powerful role of social support

Every Wednesday, 11 am - 12 pm (from 8 October 2025), Source Cafe at Senate House:

  • Social coffee drop-ins at Senate House, led by Ella

Always available:

  • Digital content hub on the University of Bristol Active app
    • Including 4 weeks' worth of videos from Connor
