Cold and heat, present and future: analysing their impact on population health

Cold currently kills far more people than heat, not only in the UK, but also in countries with warmer climates. Will cold-related impact on population health (and consequent health care needs) decline as global temperatures rise? Analysis of prospective epidemiological studies from contrasting geographic regions promises some insights.
