Learning to reproduce

This inaugural lecture takes us on a journey which began over 20 years ago, through the development of David Cahill’s combined interests in (mostly) human reproduction and in teaching and learning. He will cover some of the understanding he has developed of the impact of endometriosis on fertility, some of the more practical aspects of the knowledge and expertise he has developed, the use of the world wide web to develop innovative methods of delivering teaching on reproduction, with growing expertise and working closely with colleagues without whom his own career would not have flourished. He will delve into his passion for education for students and trainees which has led him to explore opportunities in medical education in the University, in the South-West and nationally.
