Eligibility and Registration

Online registration is now open.  Please read the information below before registering for graduation.

All postgraduate candidates should read the information for postgraduate candidates before registering.

Eligibility to graduate depends on the following criteria:

If you have not received an invitation email by Monday 14 April and you believe that you are due to graduate in July, please contact the Graduation Office in order to register.

-  How can I check my results?  Results, when confirmed, will be available via your Student Info pages.

-  Should I wait for my result before registering for graduation?  No, you should register for graduation whether you know your result or not.

-  What if I am not awarded my degree?  If you are not awarded your degree and you have confirmed your attendance for the July 2014 degree congregation, you will automatically be put forward to the Spring Term 2015 congregation.


Graduands can choose to attend the ceremony or receive their degree in absentia.

Please note that we cannot guarantee that students who fail to register by the deadline will be allocated a place at their degree ceremony. You must complete the application process even if you do not wish to attend a ceremony.

Please complete the relevant form on your Student Info pages (for current students), or Past Student Info (for former students), by selecting the option either to attend your graduation ceremony or to graduate in absentia

After registering, you will receive a confirmation email. If you do not receive this email, please contact the Graduation Office.

Email form

Students who do not have access to online registration will be sent a form by email, which they should complete and return. We will then confirm receipt of the form.
