Gown hire
You should hire your gown from Ede & Ravenscroft. Please remember, it will not be possible for you to graduate if you do not have the correct gown. Gowns must be hired by the deadline date of Friday 28 June 2013.
How much will my gown cost to hire?

Do I need to order a cap?
You are not required to order a cap for the ceremony, unless you are being awarded a Higher Doctorate, i.e. DEng, DLitt, DMus, DSc and LLD.
What should I wear on the day?
Clothes should be suitable for the occasion. We can offer the following recommendations:
- For men; a dark suit, tie and black shoes
- For women; a dark skirt/trousers with a white blouse and black shoes (a safety pin is a useful accessory for keeping your hood in place).
Where do I collect my gown?
Gowns are available for collection from The Refectory, The Hawthorns, Woodland Road on the day of your Graduation ceremony. Details of timings will be available in due course.
