The Physics Graduate School is organising a baking competition and cake sale in aid of IOP for Africa in the School of Physics on 11 and 12 July.

The cakes will be displayed and judged in the Tyndall Lecture theatre on 11 July, from 5 pm onwards. Professor Peter Barham will give a talk on the science of baking, and there will be a wine reception and a raffle.

All cakes entered in the competition will be sold in the foyer of the School of Physics on 12 July from 11 am onwards.
