Analysis seminar: Lower local Lipschitz constant and non-differentiability (Note: 2nd floor)
1 February 2016, 4.00 PM - 1 February 2016, 5.00 PM
Thomas Zürcher, University of Warwick
Howard House, 2nd floor seminar room
Abstract:
In this talk, I will have a look at the construction of certain functions each of which is such that the set of non-differentiability points has positive measure, but the lower local Lipschitz constant is nevertheless nicely controlled.
The talk is based on a part of the recent paper:
"Sharp Differentiability Results for the Lower Local Lipschitz Constant and Applications to Non-embedding"
jointly written with Kevin Wildrick.
