Abstract

In this talk I will cover the typical journey of a paper through a medical journal's processes and consider what editors and peer reviewers look for when assessing research and how to choose an appropriate journal for your research. I will also cover (from The BMJ's perspective) common reasons for rejection and some tips for submission
