Freedom of Information - Request Review Procedure
If you are not satisfied with the University's response to your request for information, you can use the University's Freedom of Information Complaints Procedure. If you are still not satisfied after this, you should appeal to the Information Commissioner.

Your complaint will be acknowledged within 7 working days and responded to within 20 working days of the acknowledgement. If your complaint will take longer to investigate you will be told why and when you can expect a response.

If the Commissioner decides that you have a valid complaint, he will serve a notice about the decision to you and the University. If the Commissioner decides that the University has failed to comply with your request then the decision notice must:
- set down the steps that the University needs to take to comply,
- say how long this should take and
- say how the University can appeal
