How do I apply?
Applicants are strongly encouraged to apply online for postgraduate programmes.
Our online system is designed to make our application process easy and convenient for you.
You will be guided through our application form to ensure that you complete only the necessary sections for your programme. It is easy to upload documents into your application and you will be able to request references online. You can also save your application and return to work on it at a later date. Once you have submitted, you can check the progress of your application by logging into the system and will be able to view and respond to our admission decision online.
If you are unable to apply online we will also accept paper applications by post or email.
In either case, before you apply to the PhD programme, please read the information contained within this section regarding admissions process and entry requirements
All application forms must be accompanied by a research proposal which must be no less than 500 words (maximum 1,500 words) and include the following:
- Title
- Background to the research
- Aims and objectives of the research and research questions being asked
- How the research project will be carried out and an indication of the methodologies which you might employ
- Data analysis
- The anticipated outcomes from the project, in terms of its contribution to knowledge and understanding, new methodologies and techniques, data, etc.
- References.
