Entry requirements
Normal entry qualifications are an honours degree in a relevant academic field or an appropriate professional qualification with relevant background knowledge and skills. applications are accepted from newly qualified graduates with relevant degrees .Relevant academic fields include:

- Food Science
- Nutrition
- Public health nutrition
- Health promotion
- Nursing
- Physiotherapy
- Occupational therapy
- Sports science
- Physiology
- Psychology
- Biochemistry
- Biology
- Teaching
Consideration will also be given to other and unrelated academic backgrounds if applicants are able to demonstrate suitable background knowledge and skills. Relevant professional experience will also be a positive factor in any application.
Applicants should hold a first degree with a minimum of upper second class honours or equivalent. Students currently studying for a degree will be offered a place contingent upon achieving at least a 2i honours degree. In some circumstances entry can be negotiated for lower qualifications. In this case the offer may be made to study for a Diploma, with upgrade to MSc pending satisfactory progress.
International students whose first language is not English will also be required to achieve a 6.5 (+) in an IELTS (or equivalent) test.
