If you would like further information on the academic content of the course, please email firstname.lastname@example.org.
We welcome and encourage applications for postgraduate degrees by research. In addition to topics focusing on single research areas, we actively encourage interdisciplinary research that cuts across the spectrum of English literature studies, or other intellectual disciplines in the Faculty of Arts and beyond. Joint supervision may be provided.
See our departmental research groups for more information on how our research activity is focused within English Literature.
You will also benefit from the Graduate School of Arts and Humanities' skills training programme, which allows you to extend your range of academic and professional skills. You may also be given the chance at an appropriate stage to teach undergraduates, and you will be offered training for this purpose, leading to formal accreditation.
The Graduate School offers scholarship opportunities and other financial aid to Arts applicants on both taught and research programmes.
One of the best things about the course is the research seminars, which really enrich my learning experience. The groups are lively, informative and fun.
