We are a core partner in each of the four research themes of the £12M UK Centre for Power Electronics. The research investigates new technologies for the next generation of power electronics, using emerging wide-bandgap power semiconductor devices.
SPHERE: A Sensor Platform for Healthcare in a Residential Environment
Remote wireless powering of autonomous body-worn healthcare devices: On-body energy harvesting, textile harvesters (photovoltaic and ferroelectret), radio-frequency and inductive wireless power transfer to moving targets.
