The Inside Track to Internships

2 February 2017, 1.00 PM - 2 February 2017, 2.00 PM

Antonia Reynolds, Softwire, the Faculty Employability Adviser (Careers Service) and the Industrial Liaison Office.

1.15, Queen's Building

For the first seminar of this term, we have invited Softwire to give an employer’s perspective about the value of an Internship. The Careers Service will highlight the range of opportunities available to you and how to stand out from the crowd.

Plus learn more about the *NEW* ILO Internship Scheme which is now open to all year groups and includes opportunities exclusive to the Faculty.

The Faculty Employability Adviser will be holding a Careers drop-in session in the QB entrance foyer afterwards.

Bring your lunch - all welcome.

The Inside Track Seminar series is an informal forum aimed at students to provide a regular opportunity to discuss in an open forum any industry or careers related issues you have. Each week will have a theme, but there will also be the opportunity to bring any other questions you have (e.g. about CVs, job applications, types of industry, internships etc.). Members of staff from the Careers Service and Industrial Liaison Office will be at each session.
