The Inside Track Lecture on the future of materials in aerospace manufacturing

Max Brown, Head of Engineering at GKN Aerospace, will offer his insight into the emerging trends in the high-value aerospace manufacturing market from a materials perspective.

GKN Aerospace as a Tier 1 manufacturing supplier is responding to the market demands for increased material performance from both metallic and composite processes. This lecture will also provide an insight into the growth of the aerospace industry, including significant investment regionally in the South West, and how this could offer a wide range of opportunities for future engineering graduates.

The Inside Track Lecture series is aimed primarily at students - speakers from a range of industries will share their inside knowledge. All lectures will be followed by a Question & Answer session, a chance to meet the speaker(s) over drinks and a related LinkedIn discussion.
